This 2000 Lexus RX isn’t for everyone. It’s rugged and a little rough around the edges, but that’s exactly why I love it. It’s great on rough terrain and handles desert tracks with confidence. Perfect for weekend getaways.
The performance of my Renault Fluence is exceptional. The car is quick, agile, and responsive, which makes it a joy to drive. However, the overall value for money isn’t great. It’s a car that makes a statement, but I believe you’re paying a premium for the brand rather than the actual features or performance. It’s definitely a luxury vehicle, but in terms of bang for your buck, there are better alternatives out there.
Using the Citroën C5 for my delivery business, I’ve grown to appreciate its durability and simplicity. It’s not flashy, but it gets the job done. Even with constant city driving and frequent starts and stops, the car doesn’t overheat. Service intervals are manageable, and parts are fairly priced. I do wish it had better rear visibility and maybe a more refined interior, but given the price and function, I can’t complain too much about those details.
The Citroën C3 was my first car after moving here. Compact, colorful, and surprisingly robust. I used it daily for nearly five years with minimal trouble. Parking was effortless, and I always felt a little bit cooler driving something so unique.
Toyota FJ Cruiser is a beast. I take it off-roading, camping, and everywhere in between. It’s rugged, capable, and built like a tank. Yes, visibility isn’t the best and the rear doors can be awkward, but if you need something tough and iconic, this is it.
I use this mostly for business travel and weekend outings, and it handles both jobs well. The suspension leans a bit on the stiff side, which actually makes it feel more in control when cornering. It’s clearly designed for practical use, but it doesn’t feel cheap.
It’s not the flashiest option out there, but it's been more than capable and shockingly low-maintenance. Maintenance hasn’t been a headache at all — one of the few cars that didn’t surprise me at the service center. Not a head-turner, but definitely one that earns respect for how well it functions.
