For the price, you get a lot. I’m talking about backup camera, blind spot monitor, wireless charging—the works. Just be ready for occasional infotainment lag.

This vehicle has proved to be extremely dependable. I’ve used it on everything from daily commutes to road trips across the Emirates. The back seats could use more padding, but otherwise, the ride is smooth, fuel-efficient, and remarkably low-maintenance.

I needed a tough car for off-roading, and this one did not disappoint. Handles desert terrain like a champ. Not great on fuel, but that’s the tradeoff. It’s not meant to be efficient – it’s meant to be capable.

Had a few hiccups early on, but now that everything’s settled, it’s smooth sailing. Maintenance hasn’t been a headache at all — one of the few cars that didn’t surprise me at the service center. There’s decent tech inside, though the user interface could use a few updates.

Driving back and forth between cities revealed using this car for purchasing it brand new recently has highlighted several weaknesses. Comfort is average at best, and I’ve already encountered small but irritating issues like finicky electronics and a noisy cabin. Fuel economy is not what I expected either, and I’ve had to visit the service center more often than I’d like. It hasn’t been a smooth ride overall.

Comfortable in city traffic

My experience with the MG ZS has been mixed. It started off strong — responsive handling, quiet cabin, decent acceleration — but after six months, I began noticing odd vibrations at higher speeds. Took it in for service and the issue was resolved, thankfully under warranty. The good news is that fuel consumption remains stable, and the car is very comfortable for my weekend getaways. I just wish it were more consistent with its build quality.

After three years with this vehicle, I’ve grown to really appreciate its balance of comfort and capability. It handles long drives with ease, though it's not exactly the most fuel-efficient option out there. The infotainment system also feels outdated, but the solid build quality more than makes up for it.

Taking this car on the E311 between Sharjah and Dubai daily has revealed its strengths. Even after long days behind the wheel, I step out without back pain. Seats are cushioned just right, and there are enough adjustment points for taller drivers like me.

If you need something that does the basics well, this car handles driving across emirates frequently reasonably well. It’s neither exciting nor disappointing—it simply gets the job done.
