The cabin layout makes everything feel intuitive. I never had to dig through the manual. It doesn’t pretend to be something it’s not. What you see is what you get, and that’s refreshing. Fuel economy is reasonable, but I’d recommend getting a service package — parts can be expensive.

It’s not the flashiest option out there, but it's been more than capable and shockingly low-maintenance. Fuel economy is reasonable, but I’d recommend getting a service package — parts can be expensive. I’ve had zero issues with the electronics, and the backup camera is way better than expected.

Subaru Outback is a sleeper. It looks like a station wagon, but it can handle trails, carry cargo, and survive long hauls without a peep. The AWD gives it incredible grip and it’s more fun than it looks. A practical adventurer’s car.

Parking sensors, camera, and a surprisingly tight turning radius make this car feel much smaller than it is. My only gripe is the glovebox could be larger. But everything else—safety, comfort, and infotainment—has been fantastic so far.
