Solid build but fuel thirsty

Parking it every day at work showed me this car handles using it mainly for office commute reasonably well. It’s neither exciting nor disappointing—it simply gets the job done. Comfort is passable for daily use, though I’d appreciate more support on longer drives. Performance is modest, and while there’s room for improvement in the interior layout, it hasn’t caused any major frustration.

Perfect for below-par build quality

Taking this car on the E311 between Sharjah and Dubai daily has revealed its strengths. Even after long days behind the wheel, I step out without back pain. Seats are cushioned just right, and there are enough adjustment points for taller drivers like me.

It’s been a solid ride with infotainment system

It’s not the flashiest option out there, but it's been more than capable and shockingly low-maintenance. Maintenance hasn’t been a headache at all — one of the few cars that didn’t surprise me at the service center. Not a head-turner, but definitely one that earns respect for how well it functions.

The MG HS caught my eye because of its price, but it's been surprisingly reliable. I’ve taken it across city traffic and some rougher outskirts, and it never struggled. It may not have the brand prestige, but it delivers where it counts—comfort, tech, and efficient running costs.

Decent car, but could be better

Owning the 2002 Land Rover Discovery has been quite an experience. It has a powerful engine that makes highway driving effortless. However, it struggles with fuel efficiency, especially in city driving.. Overall, if you're looking for a practical vehicle that suits long road trips, the Land Rover Discovery is a good option.

Owning the 2004 Mini Cooper has been quite an experience. It offers an incredibly smooth ride and excellent comfort. However, it struggles with fuel efficiency, especially in city driving.. Overall, if you're looking for a practical vehicle that suits daily commutes, the Mini Cooper is a great choice.

The 2017 MG HS is a surprising find. It offers a lot of features for its price, and the cabin is quite roomy with modern tech. The ride is smooth and comfortable, making it a good family SUV. However, the engine feels a bit underpowered for its size, and fuel efficiency isn’t the best. It’s a decent choice if you value features over performance.
