New Parkin Zone Brings 24/7 Parking Fees to Al Khail Gate

Residents and visitors at Al Khail Gate in Dubai are now required to pay for parking at all hours. Parkin, the official parking operator in Dubai, has introduced a new paid parking area named Zone 365N, which operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including Sundays.

This change removes the previously available benefit of free Sunday parking, which many residents had relied on for years.

Daily and Hourly Charges Breakdown

Zone 365N at Al Khail Gate comes with a capped daily fee of AED 30. Hourly charges are as follows:

  • AED 4 for 1 hour

  • AED 8 for 2 hours

  • AED 12 for 3 hours

  • AED 16 for 4 hours

  • AED 20 for 5 hours

  • AED 22 for any duration between 6 and 9 hours

Once a vehicle exceeds 9 hours of parking, the AED 30 daily maximum is applied automatically.

This pricing structure remains consistent during both peak and off-peak hours, ensuring a flat-rate system that is easy for users to follow.

No Free Parking Days

Previously, some paid parking areas across Dubai, including in Mirdif, offered free parking on Sundays. With the implementation of Zone 365N, Parkin confirms that this benefit is no longer available in the Al Khail Gate area. Parking fees are now required every day, without exception.

The move has raised concerns among some residents, particularly those who park their vehicles long-term or rely on street parking as their primary option.

Parking Subscriptions Not Yet Available

While Parkin has launched monthly and annual subscription plans in other areas of Dubai, these are not currently offered at Al Khail Gate. Residents must, therefore, continue paying either hourly or daily rates for the time being.

However, Parkin may consider extending its subscription model to this location in the future, depending on usage trends and demand.

Aligning with Dubai’s Parking Strategy

The introduction of Zone 365N is part of a broader effort to regulate parking availability across busy residential zones. Parkin aims to improve parking turnover, reduce long-term vehicle storage in public spaces, and manage urban congestion.

This strategy supports Dubai’s long-term transport planning, where smart parking systems play a key role in maintaining traffic flow and accessibility.
