From the dealership to the drive, everything about this car has been smooth and dependable. Even after long days behind the wheel, I step out without back pain. Seats are cushioned just right, and there are enough adjustment points for taller drivers like me.

What sold me initially was the design, but it’s the day-to-day ease that’s kept me satisfied. Maintenance hasn’t been a headache at all — one of the few cars that didn’t surprise me at the service center. What I love most is that it doesn’t rattle — even on rougher roads, the build feels tight.

A few months into ownership, one thing is clear this car handles purchasing it brand new recently reasonably well. It’s neither exciting nor disappointing—it simply gets the job done. Comfort is passable for daily use, though I’d appreciate more support on longer drives. Performance is modest, and while there’s room for improvement in the interior layout, it hasn’t caused any major frustration.

Luxury SUV with a quiet cabin

I use this mostly for highway driving and it’s incredibly smooth. The interior is classy, with plenty of legroom in the rear. The engine feels refined, though city mileage could be better. It feels like a true luxury SUV.

My daily driver is the 2009 Lexus ES, and while it’s not exciting, it’s incredibly functional. Fuel economy is respectable, and I appreciate the low noise levels. Maintenance has been minimal, and that’s a win in my book.

I had a long checklist before buying, and this checked enough boxes to make the cut. What I love most is that it doesn’t rattle — even on rougher roads, the build feels tight. The AC cools super quickly, which matters a lot in this heat. I just wish the cupholders were deeper.

Built for endurance

This 2000 Lexus RX isn’t for everyone. It’s rugged and a little rough around the edges, but that’s exactly why I love it. It’s great on rough terrain and handles desert tracks with confidence. Perfect for weekend getaways.

I’ve taken this car on several long hauls, and each time it impresses. It climbs hills without effort and the fuel gauge barely moves. Interior lights are well-placed and door pockets hold more than I expected. One of the better buys in this segment.
