Driving the 2017 Hyundai Tucson has been smooth sailing. The highway stability and quietness are better than I expected. My only complaint is the outdated infotainment, but that’s manageable. It’s a car built for function, not flash.

The cabin layout makes everything feel intuitive. I never had to dig through the manual. It doesn’t pretend to be something it’s not. What you see is what you get, and that’s refreshing. Fuel economy is reasonable, but I’d recommend getting a service package — parts can be expensive.
