After 20,000 km, what stands out is this vehicle was built for purchasing it brand new recently. The comfort level rivals more premium brands, and the drive is smooth even at high speeds. Fuel economy has been excellent for my needs, and it’s proven incredibly reliable so far. Routine maintenance has been hassle-free, and I haven’t faced any unexpected costs. Overall, it’s been a rewarding ownership experience.

I wouldn't recommend the infotainment system

It’s not the flashiest option out there, but it's been more than capable and shockingly low-maintenance. It doesn’t pretend to be something it’s not. What you see is what you get, and that’s refreshing. Not a head-turner, but definitely one that earns respect for how well it functions.

The ride quality is the standout feature. Even over rough pavement, it keeps things smooth inside. It’s not the flashiest looking car on the block, but it’s dependable. Minor electrical issues cropped up in year two but nothing major so far.

As someone who commutes 100+ km daily, this car had to prove itself early — and it did. Fuel efficiency remains its strongest point. Even with AC full blast, I still average well above 14 km/l. Rear sensors are accurate, though the screen interface could be smoother.

The X5 was the perfect blend of practicality and performance. It could handle the daily grind, but it was also a blast to drive on the weekends. I loved taking it on road trips – it was comfortable, spacious, and had enough power to pass anything on the highway.
