High ground clearance and sturdy hardware make desert tracks fun, while daily rides remain acceptable. Steering leans heavy and fuel economy won’t wow, but the tough feel inspires confidence. If adventure calls, this rig happily tags along after work.

The 2025 Nissan Xterra is built for adventure. With its rugged design and off-road capabilities, it’s perfect for those who love outdoor exploration. However, it’s not the most fuel-efficient vehicle, and the ride can be uncomfortable on highways. Still, it's an excellent off-roading choice.
