Our CX-90 is the ultimate "premium family hauler." The inline-six engine provides a smooth, 5-star surge of power, and the interior is a wood-trimmed sanctuary. We get around 10.6 km/l, which is fair for its size. The third row is a bit snug for teens, but the safety tech and refined ride make every road trip a 4-star experience. It’s Mazda’s best luxury effort yet.

We average 10.6 km/l, which is fair for its massive size. While the third row is snug for adults, the 5-star safety tech and refined ride make every road trip a relaxing, high-end experience for the kids.

A Comfortable Ride, But Lacks Power

I was initially excited about the Mazda CX-9 for its spacious interior and modern tech features. The comfort level is outstanding, and it's perfect for long road trips. However, when it comes to performance, the engine just feels underwhelming. It lacks the power I was hoping for, especially when merging onto highways. Fuel economy is decent, but I wish it could do better in city driving.
