Lamborghini Revuelto SV Debuts at Monterey With GT3-Derived Tech
Automobili Lamborghini officially revealed the new Lamborghini Revuelto SV at Monterey Car Week, featuring GT3 racing technology. The limited-run V12 hybrid produces about 1,050 hp, and Lamborghini claims 0–100 km/h in 2.4 seconds.
Our pre-reveal estimate was close on price and correct on production volume: the SV is limited to 1,963 cars, while CNBC reports a U.S. starting price of $741,172.
What Changes Over the Standard Revuelto
- Revisions to the hybrid system’s electrical components add 49 hp, bringing combined output to 1,050 hp.
- Reworked front aero, underbody elements and the fixed rear wing increase total downforce by 80% over the standard Revuelto.
- Formula 1-inspired CCM-R Plus carbon-ceramic brakes deliver a claimed 11% increase in peak deceleration.
- The SV replaces the standard Revuelto’s electronically controlled dampers with manually adjustable, GT3-derived passive units.
- Single-nut monolocker Dromos forged wheels debut alongside custom Bridgestone Potenza Race R semi-slick track tires.
- Red steering dial activates the dedicated Pilota driving mode with 5 selectable traction control settings.
The SV’s biggest changes are in its aero, suspension, brakes and control systems rather than the V12 itself. The V12 remains rated at 813 hp and revs to 9,500 rpm. Two axial-flux motors drive the front axle, while a radial-flux motor sits above the rear-mounted DCT.
Marco Mapelli recorded a 1:41.6 lap at Hockenheim, which Lamborghini describes as a production-car record.

Aerodynamic Evolution Of The Lamborghini Revuelto SV
An angled front-bumper fin directs airflow to the side coolers, while the revised splitter and underbody improve the SV’s aerodynamics. The fixed rear wing uses double-plane outer sections, while Lamborghini claims a 60% improvement in downforce-to-drag efficiency over the standard Revuelto.
A 6D sensor near the car’s center of gravity measures three-axis acceleration and rotation data for the integrated vehicle and brake-control systems. Inside, carbon-fiber door panels and carbon-shell Sport Seats reduce weight; optional monocoque Race Seats are more focused.
The red Pilota selector on the steering wheel gives the driver 5 traction-control levels. The bespoke Potenza Race R is designed for quick warm-up and consistent lap performance.
Ordering Availability For The Lamborghini Revuelto SV
CNBC reports a U.S. starting price of $741,172, putting the SV close to our earlier $750,000 estimate. Official global order books have not yet opened for public allocation across international retail dealer networks.
As of August 17, Lamborghini Dubai’s website still lists the standard Revuelto but not the new SV. With production capped at 1,963 cars and Lamborghini prioritizing loyal customers and collectors, allocations are likely to be closely watched.
More importantly, the SV shows how Lamborghini is using hybrid hardware to sharpen a V12 track car rather than simply adding power. We’ll update you when UAE allocation and dealer information becomes available.
Does an 80% downforce gain justify moving to manually adjustable GT3-derived dampers on a roughly $741,000 street supercar? Tell us your thoughts below, and follow ArabWheels Blog for local allocation news, official dealer availability, and track testing coverage.
