Lamborghini has unveiled the Fenomeno Roadster, its most powerful open-top model ever created. Revealed at the prestigious Lamborghini Arena in Imola, this ultra-exclusive hypercar is limited to just 15 units globally. 

The car represents a significant evolution of the Fenomeno Coupé, celebrating two decades of design excellence from Centro Stile. This “Few-Off” masterpiece follows a legendary bloodline of limited open-air icons like the Reventón and Veneno Roadsters. 

The design philosophy focuses on the “Feel Like a Pilot” concept, ensuring the driver remains central to the experience. According to CEO Stephan Winkelmann, the Fenomeno Roadster is the purest expression of visionary design and uncompromising performance. 

The name follows Lamborghini tradition, drawing from the world of fighting bulls while also meaning ‘phenomenal’ in Italian and Spanish. This car is essentially a collectible masterpiece intended for a select group of global enthusiasts and collectors.

Unprecedented Power Meets Hybrid Precision 

At the heart of the Fenomeno Roadster lies a groundbreaking 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine paired with three motors. The powertrain produces 1080 CV, equivalent to roughly 1,065 hp, making it a new benchmark for the Italian brand. 

The combustion engine alone produces over 800 hp at 9,250 rpm, while the hybrid system ensures instantaneous torque delivery. This combination allows for a blistering 0–100 km/h sprint in just 2.4 seconds and a top speed exceeding 340 km/h.

Redefining Open-Top Aerodynamics

Redesigning a hypercar for open-top driving requires extreme technical precision to maintain the same downforce as the Coupé. Lamborghini engineers added an innovative spoiler to the windshield to efficiently direct airflow over the cockpit and into the engine.

This allows the V12 to draw in cooling air without the overhead air scoop found on the hard-top variant. The carbon rollover protection structures are integrated seamlessly into the Speedster humps, ensuring safety without compromising the athletic silhouette.

The exterior features a striking Blu Cepheus finish, paying tribute to the 1968 Miura Roadster and the city of Bologna. Inside, the cabin uses advanced materials like Carbon Skin and Corsatex to create a functional yet luxurious cockpit environment. 

The “Pilot Interaction” system utilizes 3 digital displays to present critical driving data to the operator in real time. Hexagonal design elements appear throughout the interior, from the air vents to the haptic buttons and aviation-inspired switches.
