Salik System Expands Beyond Toll Gates

Salik, known for its toll collection across Dubai, is now entering the parking industry. The Beach JBR will soon offer smart parking powered by your Salik account through the Parkonic app. No more printed tickets or machines. The system scans your license plate as you enter and exit and automatically deducts charges from your linked Salik account.  This move is part of Dubai’s broader vision to enhance smart and connected transport services.

What Drivers Need to Know

To use this system at The Beach JBR, link your Salik account to the Parkonic app. Once you do that, parking becomes fully automatic. Just drive in and out. No buttons, no queues, and no tapping. This service is open to both residents and tourists with valid Salik accounts. It is designed to cut down traffic delays and make beach visits more enjoyable.

The Beach JBR is one of 18 locations across Dubai set to roll out Salik-enabled parking. Other destinations include City Walk and La Mer. These areas are busy year-round, making them ideal for smart parking solutions.
