The EX5 uses a 60.22 kWh lithium-iron-phosphate battery. On a full charge, it offers a WLTP-tested range of approximately 430 km. It supports DC fast charging up to 100 kW, topping up from 10% to 80% in under 30 minutes.
For home or office charging, it also supports 11 kW AC charging, making overnight recharging simple.
Interior and Technology
The EX5’s cabin is spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed. It comfortably seats five and features a high seating position with ample legroom. The materials feel premium for its price, with soft-touch finishes and well-cushioned seats.
Geely has equipped the dashboard with a 15.4-inch touchscreen that manages most functions, paired with a 10.2-inch digital cluster and a head-up display for real-time alerts. The system runs Flyme Auto, offering voice commands, wireless phone charging, and over-the-air updates.
Higher trims feature ventilated front seats with built-in massage functions, a panoramic sunroof, and customizable ambient lighting. The 16-speaker sound system enhances the overall driving experience.
Design quality hasn’t gone unnoticed. The Geely EX5 has earned global design recognition, including the IDA Design Award, Muse Design Award, and Red Dot Award, celebrating its aesthetics and functionality.
Safety and ADAS
Safety is another standout area for the EX5. The Geely EX5 received five-star ratings from both Euro NCAP and ANCAP in 2025 testing. Standard features include seven airbags, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot detection, rear cross-traffic alert, and autonomous emergency braking.
A 360-degree camera system and advanced parking aids add daily convenience.

Geely offers the EX5 in two variants for the UAE market. Prices are as follows:
