Dubai Residents Enjoy 3-Day Free Public Parking This National Day
Dubai residents will enjoy three days of free public parking during the UAE National Day celebrations. From November 30 to December 2, 2025, all public parking will be free of charge. The announcement was made by Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority ahead of the holiday weekend.
This holiday period coincides with the Eid Al Etihad celebrations. The free parking applies to street parking and public parking lots. However, multi-storey car parks and Al Khail Gate N-365 will not be included in this offer.
Parking fees will resume on Wednesday, December 3, after the long weekend. The RTA reminded drivers that regular charges will be enforced on these specific locations.
Dubai Metro and Tram Timings Extended
The RTA has also extended operating hours for the Dubai Metro and the Dubai Tram. The Metro will run from 5 AM to 1 AM on Saturday, November 29. On Sunday, November 30, the service will start at 8 AM and run until 1 AM the following day.
On Monday, December 1, and Tuesday, December 2, the Metro will operate from 5 AM to 1 AM. Dubai Tram will run from 6 AM to 1 AM on Saturday. On Sunday, November 30, the Tram will start at 9 AM and run until 1 AM. On Monday and Tuesday, it will run from 6 AM to 1 AM.
Public Buses and Marine Transport
The RTA advised commuters to check the S’hail app for updates on public buses and marine transport. Some bus and marine routes may have adjusted schedules during the holiday. Checking the app will ensure passengers are informed of any changes.
RTA Customer Happiness Centres
RTA Customer Happiness Centres will be closed on Monday, December 1, and Tuesday, December 2. However, Smart Customer Happiness Centres at locations like Umm Ramool, Deira, and Al Barsha will remain open 24/7. Service Provider Centres will be closed but will reopen on Wednesday, December 3.
