Planning your Eid weekend in Dubai? Here’s something to smile about. Free Parking for Eid Al Adha is officially confirmed across the city. The RTA just revealed its full Eid public services schedule. This includes updates on parking, metro, tram, and bus services. Everything you need to know is right here.

Free Parking Across the City

From Thursday, June 5, until Sunday, June 8, public parking in Dubai will be free. This covers all paid zones across residential and commercial areas. One exception applies. Multi-level parking terminals are not included. Those will continue to charge regular fees.

So if you’re heading to Eid brunch, family gatherings, or late-night shopping, you can park without worry. This free parking initiative for Eid Al Adha helps ease travel during one of the busiest weekends of the year.

Extended Metro and Tram Hours

Planning to skip traffic? Dubai Metro and Tram services have you covered. The Eid Al Adha metro schedule runs longer this year. Both Red and Green Lines will operate daily from 5:00 AM to 1:00 AM, starting June 4.

The Dubai Tram will run from 6:00 AM to 1:00 AM during the same period. That gives you more flexibility for late-night city plans. This change is part of the wider Dubai RTA Eid timings update aimed at smoother mobility.

Key Bus Route Changes

Note these Dubai bus timings for Eid changes. The E100 route from Al Ghubaiba to Abu Dhabi will be suspended from June 4 to June 8. Instead, two alternatives are available:

  • E101 from Ibn Battuta Bus Station to Abu Dhabi
  • E102 from Al Jafiliya Bus Station to Zayed International Airport

These changes are part of the official RTA Eid public transport update. Use the S’hail app for live timings and route info.

Service Centres and Smart Help

All Customer Happiness Centres will close for the holiday. But Smart Centres at Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, and RTA HQ will remain open 24 hours. Service Provider Centres, such as Tasjeel and Shamil, will be closed from June 5 to June 7.

Some testing centres will reopen on Sunday, June 8. Complete services resume across all locations by Monday, June 9.
