• BMW 7 Series & i7 Facelift (World Premiere)

BMW has chosen Auto China to pull the silks off the updated 7 Series and i7. This is critical for the UAE because the i7 already carries serious badge value. The facelift debuts new Gen6 cylindrical cells from BMW’s Neue Klasse research. These cells are specifically engineered for thermal stability. 

By maintaining peak efficiency in extreme heat, BMW is effectively de-risking the “EV-in-the-Desert” depreciation curve for AGMC and Abu Dhabi Motors customers. We expect this to land in Q4 2026 with an estimated price starting around AED 710,000.

• Mercedes-Benz S-Class (2027 Refresh)

For the executive clocking 30,000 km annually, luxury is now a secondary concern. This 2027 S-Class refresh focuses entirely on reclaiming your time. The highlight is the Level 3 Drive Pilot 3.0. Unlike current systems, this allows the car to handle highway traffic without driver intervention. 

Two hours on the E11 is a daily reality for many. This car finally permits legal email checks during the commute. Let the technology handle the grueling stop-start slog of Sharjah traffic. Expect a Q1 2027 arrival with prices ranging from AED 550,000 to AED 720,000.

• Xiaomi SU7 Ultra

The production version of the SU7 Ultra appearing at Auto China is no longer just a smartphone on wheels. With a rumored 0-100 km/h time under 2 seconds and triple-silver-coated glass that blocks 99% of UV rays, this car is being built with markets like Dubai in mind.

• BYD Yangwang U8 (2026 Refresh)

The “Tank Turn” SUV that redefined off-roading is getting a major 2026 upgrade. We expect BYD to unveil a new 2nd-gen Blade Battery that enables a 10% to 70% charge in just 5 minutes. For the Moreeb Dune crowd, this means more power and faster recovery for long days in deep sand.

• Audi E7X (Global Premiere)

Audi’s Beijing premiere is a direct shot at Tesla Model S’s dominance in the UAE’s corporate fleets. Built on the PPE platform shared with Porsche, it balances German handling with 800 km of range. • Nio ET9 

Is the UAE’s Green Charger initiative ready for a 900V architecture? The Nio ET9, showcased at Auto China 2026, says yes. Most UAE chargers currently max out at 150kW or 200kW. The ET9’s 900V system is built for the future 600kW ultra-fast stations being planned for 2027. 

It features a SkyRide chassis that is so stable you could balance a glass of water on the dash while driving over speed bumps in Al Barsha. This flagship is expected in Q1 2027 and may be priced at around AED 411,000.

• Huawei AITO M9 

The AITO M9 is essentially a rolling supercomputer. It features a 75” Augmented Reality HUD. As the UAE pushes toward Smart City integration, the M9’s ability to communicate with traffic lights and infrastructure makes it a pioneer of the Abu Dhabi 2030 vision. 

We expect it to land in Q4 2026 with an estimated price of AED 140,000 for the entry-level electric models.
