3 New EVs. One Bold Entrance. iCaur Officially Hits the UAE Roads
Is it iCar or iCaur?
First of all, let us clarify: it’s iCar in China, but iCaur in the UAE—and no, that’s not a typo. Here’s the deal: in its home country, China, the electric car brand goes by iCar (yep, with a lowercase “i” and all). But once it steps outside China, including into the UAE, it’s rebranded as iCaur.
Why the name switch?
Apple has likely locked down the “iCar” trademark in international markets. Therefore, to steer clear of legal bumps, the company gave itself a global makeover. Anyway, names aside, here’s the exciting bit. iCaur has officially launched in the UAE, bringing along three new cars: the V27, the V23, and the 03T. Each one is electric, each one has its own vibe, and each one is here to make a statement.
iCaur V27
The iCaur V27 is a mid-size SUV powered by an extended-range electric system (REEV). It uses electric motors backed by a small 1.5L petrol engine that acts as a generator. The all wheel drive version puts out 449 hp and can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in under 7 seconds.
It offers a pure electric range of around 200 km and a total driving range of over 1000 km when the generator is active. That makes it well-suited for longer road trips without consistent charging stops.

The cabin is large and tech-focused. It comes with two 15.6-inch displays across the front that handle everything from media to navigation.
There is face recognition, voice control, and gesture support built in. Seats are covered in soft, eco-friendly materials and designed for comfort on longer drives. Ambient lighting and clean lines give the space a calm, modern look. It feels like a lounge more than a cabin, and there is no shortage of legroom or storage.
iCaur V23
The iCaur V23 is a compact, fully electric SUV smaller than the V27, but it still offers strong performance for city and highway driving. Depending on the variant, it is available with either a single motor RWD setup or a dual motor AWD version.
Power ranges from about 136 to 211 hp. Battery sizes vary between 50 and 82 kWh, offering driving ranges between 300 and 500 km. The V23 also features fast charging, which makes it easy to top up during daily use.

The inside of the V23 is clean and straightforward. It features a wide horizontal screen that handles both driving information and entertainment. Materials are solid, and the layout is practical. The seats are designed for both comfort and support, and the rear seats can be folded down to create more space.
Mood lighting and smart touches give the cabin some character without overcomplicating things. It is a simple, user-friendly space that works well for everyday routines.
iCaur 03T
The iCaur 03T is the smallest of the three but still offers plenty of range and capability. Like the V27, it uses a range extender setup with a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine that charges the battery while driving. It is meant for compact crossover use, which means it works well for shorter commutes but can also handle longer drives when needed.
It can go from zero to 100 in just under 6 seconds and has a total range of over 1000 kilometers. Pure electric range is around 200 kilometers.

Inside, the 03T feels more like a smart city car than a traditional SUV. It is well organized with a single central screen and a straightforward layout. The cabin can seat four adults comfortably, and the boot offers enough room for everyday use.
Materials are decent for the segment, and the overall space feels clean rather than crowded. It is an easy car to live with if you value size, range, and simplicity.
Can you buy them now?
Currently, only the V27 is confirmed to be available or close to launch in the UAE. It is expected to be priced around AED 130,000 and will be sold through iCaur’s first showroom in Dubai. The V23 and 03T were shown during the official launch event but are not yet on sale.
Both are expected to arrive later this year or early next.
