Driving this is pure joy

Sporty design and responsive engine. Feels great on twisty roads. Back seat is tight, but up front it feels luxurious. The infotainment system is very modern too.

Bought this car mainly for the kids, and it does a great job fitting the whole family comfortably. The third row is a tight squeeze, but manageable. What I didn’t expect was how stable it feels at highway speeds. Would recommend with a few caveats.

Heavy build but great grip

The tech in this car really stands out, though using this car for owning it second-hand from a dealership has highlighted several weaknesses. Comfort is average at best, and I’ve already encountered small but irritating issues like finicky electronics and a noisy cabin. Fuel economy is not what I expected either, and I’ve had to visit the service center more often than I’d like. It hasn’t been a smooth ride overall.

The 2009 model is quite basic and, honestly, a bit disappointing. It’s reliable enough for daily commutes, but it feels cheap inside and lacks any real excitement. The ride is just okay, and it doesn’t handle very well. If you’re looking for something purely practical and inexpensive, it might work, but it’s far from thrilling.

Disappointing during daily use

The Nissan Sunny was my first major car purchase, and it hasn’t let me down. I drive roughly 80 kilometers a day, and it's stayed consistent without mechanical hiccups. The interior is basic but practical, and the seats provide decent support. I’ve taken it on road trips to Fujairah and back without worrying about overheating or odd noises. The only thing I wish were better is the fuel efficiency in city traffic, which dips a bit under load.
