I’m constantly at the pump, and the 2-star value rating is justified by soaring repair bills. It’s a plush tank for the family, but the dated tech and heavy fuel consumption make it a costly burden to maintain.

My GL is "Big, Comfortable, and Built To Last," but it’s a total tank at the pump, giving me just 7.9 km/l. It’s a 5-star lifesaver for hauling three kids and a dog, though the 2-star maintenance costs for the air suspension are brutal. It feels incredibly solid and safe, but you definitely pay a "luxury tax" every time it goes to the shop.

The 2017 Mercedes Benz GL Class is a full-size luxury SUV that offers plenty of space for passengers and cargo. The ride is comfortable, and the interior is luxurious, but it lacks some of the modern tech features found in newer models. It’s a reliable choice, but not as up-to-date as newer SUVs.
