The 540C is "supercar performance made accessible." It’s slightly softer than the 570S, which makes it a 4-star better daily driver on rougher city streets. I average 9.8 km/l. While it lacks some of the raw aggression of its siblings, the 5-star chassis balance and carbon fiber tub make it feel incredibly special. It’s a 4-star value for someone who wants the McLaren badge without the track-day stiffness.
