My 2025 Colorado is a "serious backcountry beast" with 5-star capability. The 310-hp TurboMax engine is a 4-star powerhouse for towing my gear, though the 8.5 km/l fuel economy hurts the wallet. I love the rugged "go-anywhere" attitude, but the interior plastics feel a bit 2-star cheap. It’s the perfect mid-size tool for someone who values dirt trails over fancy dashboard soft-touch materials.

My ZR2 Bison is a "serious backcountry beast" with 5-star capability. Those 35-inch tires and 12.2 inches of ground clearance make rocks feel like pebbles. The 310-hp turbo engine is a 4-star powerhouse for towing my gear, though the 7.2 km/l (17 mpg) fuel economy hurts. The 11.3-inch screen is great, but I'm here for the lockers and the rugged, "go-anywhere" attitude this truck exudes.

The Chevrolet Colorado shines when it comes to off-road adventures. It handles rough terrain effortlessly, and the towing capacity is impressive. However, it's not the best for daily commuting. The ride can feel rough on city roads, and fuel economy is not the greatest. I would recommend it for someone who needs a reliable work truck, not as a family vehicle.
